A traffic officer seeking a bit of respite from high noon heat.

I can’t imagine how uncomfortable and hot it is to wear that uniform much more than wear it the whole day. Outdoors. Directing traffic. Calling the attention of motorists who err. But as some people would probably say, someone’s gotta do it.

My hats off to these hardworking people. I’m sure they would choose a more comfortable work in a cooler environment if they have a choice.
