I’m sure my children are missing my MIL because they weren’t able to spend summer vacation with her in Bohol. Two years ago, they spent a month with MIL. They had so much fun with their cousins.

This is the path on the side of her home going to the beautiful garden where they have swings hanging from a big tree.

They’ve spent a lot of time on those swings, so they tell me. They are missing the summer fun they used to have but of course, there are reasons why they weren’t able to go there this year.
Took this photo of a curly fern at my Mother-in-Law’s garden in Bohol:

I got mixed feelings for this photo: it’s beautiful but the hairy texture makes me feel uncomfortable like I want to scratch my back kind of feeling.

Silhouette of one of the shell lamps hanging in the second floor pocket garden in my MIL’s house.

This is how the shell lamp looks like in a brighter photo.
Here they are hanging in a row under the wooden trellis.
When we are there, I love to see the sky turn orange during dusk, as seen in this photo.
What a pleasant surprise, I actually featured this same photo in a post a year plus a few days later.

Hmmm, 02-11-2011
This is a photo of my two basil plants gone wild, planted in blue and yellow pots. In the pink is cat whiskers plant.

I don’t know what to do with these, they’ve become so tall but the leaves are few.

Ok, so I read up on Thai basil and learned these grow up to 3 feet. So these didn’t grow wild after all, they just grew normally
*facepalm, hides face in shame*

A red rose bud “standing proud” amidst the bushes in a rose farm. Here is an orange rose from another PH theme.

No, it’s not from my garden. I wish.
