Walking Path

I love walking especially on walking paths and trails. I have yet to test my new pair of shoes because I haven’t used it more than twice yet, especially for long distance walking.

Walking Path

Walking is one of the more inexpensive exercise. This should be encouraged in residential areas and I’m am sure moms and dads with baby jogger strollers will definitely welcome the idea of having walking paths where they live.I know I do, so we won’t have to travel somewhere else just to have a good place to walk.

And yes, more often than not, travel time becomes the excuse to not go at all.

Jan12: Tree-Lined Street

jan12

Jan12, 2012. It was not a really long and busy day today but both the hubby and I agreed we feel more tired than usual. Still there are many things to be grateful for today like…

* an order of 50% sugar and less ice pearl milktea ;-)

* being able to go home early and without difficulties

* a possible good role for the son for their drama club’s play in March

* the eldest child selected to dance the Cotillion for their prom (mygaz i still cant believe it. The prom!)

* trees that are still here giving shade and making the world look nicer. (if only SM in Baguio City will respect the trees there then it would even be nicer)

I still have some tasks to do and after that Sherlock’s The Hounds of Baskerville can finally be watched. I hope I will finish this and not sleep on it like last night.

I hope I can dream about how good it will be in 2050 :)

Magnificent View

It’s another long weekend for us, this being the Hari-Raya Eid-Raya Eid-ul-Adha of our Muslim brothers.

This week’s going to be busy especially with the hubby who is going to be swamped with work because of missed workdays. As it was, last night he worked late on details about the purchase of new material handling equipment.

With the kids still in bed I am filing away photos to ready this laptop for more pictures to be taken in the coming days. I am particularly drawn to this photo taken last Monday when we had a little out of town roadtrip:

mountain range

There is something wonderful that we experience when we are looking at magnificent natural wonders. The little things we see as problems compare nothing to this scene.

When we went back home we definitely missed this view.

Walk This Way

Walking is one way for me to de-stress, except of course when I am in a hurry kind of walking.

Walk This Way

Walking among trees/plants is something I look forward to because I not only feel I am one with nature but with every step I make, AI become more aware of the things I see (well, not that much because I’m almost blind), smell, and touch (if allowed :D )

I am however particularly irked with people who light up a smoke when they are in places like the one in the photo. Unlike some people who have switched to getting electronic cigarette wholesale deals, majority of smokers still smoke the old fashioned way. *moves away from them*

Photo taken at Paradise Ranch in Clark, Pampanga.

Missing Summer Fun

I’m sure my children are missing my MIL because they weren’t able to spend summer vacation with her in Bohol. Two years ago, they spent a month with MIL. They had so much fun with their cousins.

Path to the Garden

This is the path on the side of her home going to the beautiful garden where they have swings hanging from a big tree.

Swings

They’ve spent a lot of time on those swings, so they tell me. They are missing the summer fun they used to have but of course, there are reasons why they weren’t able to go there this year.
