On Proposing for Marriage

Engagements are important events. For those who plan to propose to their love ones, the intention to settle down, the ring, the setting and proper timing are just some of the things to consider.

Whether one proposes under a blue moon, aboard a yacht during an on-board dinner date, or maybe during a televised show, giving your love one that ring one might have gotten from jewelry showcases from mfried.com or from mom’s mom, everything should be planned and thought of a hundred times over.

More than the monetary considerations (it is really expensive to get married these days), the emotional preparedness for a life of togetherness should be the sole concern. Remember, weddings are (just) ceremonies and marriage is a lifetime commitment.

December Dusk SKy

I love December skies during dusk. I really do. However dramatic and vivid summer sunsets tend to be, I still go for December sunsets.

December dusk sky

Must be something that I learned to love when I was growing up because I used to spend the week after Christmas near the beach for church activities.

Photo above was taken using hubby’s android mobile. And yes, I held my breath when I took the photo.

Let There be Light

I love taking photos of lights and as a sample, here is my post with photos about lights for a 2007 Photo Hunter light theme.  Below are two Christmas-y lights from last year’s Christmas season:

Nutcracker Lights TriNoma

Lights for the Nutcracker Ballet Christmas show held at TriNoma last 2010.

Artificial lights are wonderful but nothing beats natural light, especially coming from the display of colors of a lovely sunset:
