Playing checkers with bottle caps on a flat wooden board.

I wonder what kind of stories were swap between or among those who gathered together as the players play this game. I myself love playing checkers. A few years ago, I enjoyed playing this with my PDA.
The use of bottle caps is ingenious, because when one cap is lost, you can just easily open a bottle and you get a new replacement. This is unlike using titanium rings. I wouldn’t want to use these rings with this board game of course

This is my youngest daughter’s hand while she is writing down notes. Photo taken from my other blog.

Elementary grade children are more adept with hand-written notes than us adults who prefers encoding than writing down notes. I love writing on paper using a newly sharpened pencil.

If you were to receive a bunch of flowers, what would you want written on it’s card?

Would you like a message of love?
A message asking for another chance?
A message of thanks?
A message that tells you you were an inspiration?
I’m sure the message, especially a positive one will warm our hearts and make the gesture of gifting of flowers even more special.

How many squares can you see?

Can you see the reflection of my camera?

“Free Week” at Photo Hunter today.
The Plunge at E.A.T. Danao.

I didn’t take the plunge of course but the hubby and I ziplined through the Suislide from point A to point B and point B to point C.
See the river below? We had the same view though we weren’t suspended like that since we were on a zip line. As soon as we were on our way to the other side, it was exhilarating! Imma do it again, if we >should< go back.
See Suislide photos here.
