Choose to be someone who will unite people and not divide them by casting conflicts, real or imagined.

Even the Bible talks about someone who stirs up trouble and separating friends: “A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.”

Choose to be someone who try not to be swayed by the opinions of other people easily. Be a critical thinker and learn to analyze words.

Choose to be someone who does not easily believe lies and hollow chatter. Question yourself if all you ever hear from other people are words like these and if you are learning anything from it.

Choose to be someone who does not judge and laugh at other people’s mistakes, eccentricities and life choices. Learn to discern if these affect your life because more often than not, it doesn’t. Soon, you will realize that the time you spent thinking, talking and dissecting these things that does not directly affect you was time wasted.

It doesn’t make you a better person, it makes you sound bitter instead.

Choose to be someone who shows understanding and maturity. Choose to be someone who can be trusted to keep secrets and not spread these without caution.

Choose to be that kind of person you’d like to be friends with.

Break the monotony: Are you tired of your daily routine and want to break the monotony before you become something akin to a clockwork?

It is good to once in a while get out of your comfort zone, try things that you haven’t tried yet (be safety conscious though), tick off items in your bucket list by actually making these come true and seek joy where it is usually not found.

These little pockets of adventures will add fuel to your monotonous existence and will make you look forward to the next one.

It’s like music to the ears that soothes the hurts and pains that the heart feels with the constant ebb and flow that creates a pattern of constancy and reliable expectations.

Children are naturally inspired but parents have to create an atmosphere that will make them feel so to beable for them to nurture and grow their artistic tendencies.

One of our children has artistic and musical tendencies and we try to have a balance between the two, When this child is not honing artistic skills, she is playing with her guitar and learning new songs to play too. And yes, there is a request to have a newer and bigger one and so we look at products at musicans friend for ideas.

Nurture these gifts for the arts and music so that we have a more beautiful world to live in.
