Tugsh, tugsh, tugsh went the thumping and the young energetic dance divettes moved according to the instructions of the dance guru teaching them the know-how.

It was a fun way to raise awareness about Cervical Cancer among young ladies (and their mothers).

Of course, when they hide and bite your flip-flops or chew on your sofa legs is another story.

Be careful though not to have small pieces of knick-knacks lying around that they can choke on.

People have learned to make do with the little water resources being distributed.

We had water coming out of the faucets last Saturday and for that we are thankful. Though the water condition has improved, it does not give us the right to waste these on unnecessary drips and unimportant tasks.

I use basin when I wash plates and we use pails and dippers when we take baths. Showers are a luxury in this humble home.

So third world I know but this is our contribution to helping Mother Earth.

Hubby and I went attended a family affair and were away for a few days so my mom stayed with the kids. The kids were ecstatic spending a few days with my mama.
