December 3, 2009 Pale Full Moon

“Well, it’s a marvelous night for a moon dance. With the stars up above in your eyes”

This is the full moon before the Winter Solstice and Christmas. Moon watching is something I, we, like to do.

December 31 will have another full moon and it will be called Blue Moon.

“May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night and a smooth road all the way to your door.” ~ Irish Blessings

Great photo. I really enjoy seeing so many varieties on this theme. Most people overexpose the moon, you’ve got it just right.

Beautiful! I noticed the moon recently and wished I had the talent to take a nice photo of it. It’s so huge this time of year when you live in the north.
