I’ve been uninspired lately. I seem to think I just went through the usual motion to get by on Christmas without really feeling the essence of the real reason for the celebration of this special day. Of course it is entirely different when it comes to spending precious time with my loved ones.

I just felt my attitude this year was something like: “Ok let’s get everything started so that we can finish what needs to be done.”

I usually think about the kind of gifts I give especially to my children and my students but this year it was something like anything to send just because gifts.

We did the usual frugal Christmas wrapper, make-your-own-gift-tag thing and those cutesy notepads but I was too uninspired to even take proper photos. I did take some photos though with my crappy cam phone.

I’m glad the season is almost over and I just had to deal with the allergy that comes after New Year’s celebration.

No, we don’t use any fireworks at all but the neighbors are all agog with firecrackers. Argh.
