My Scouts went a-camping last week.

It was the son’s third time to go camping while it was the little girl’s first time to sleep in a tent outdoors.They each had their own sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, not-so-thick jacket and socks to ward off the cold. It wasn’t that cold according to them.

Having recovered from two days of low-grade fever, it surely was a welcome relief for the girl to spend time outdoors except we were worried sick ourselves she might have a relapse and thank goodness she didn’t.

I’m guessing we will be having more of these in the years to come.
