bike ride

We love road trips. It was just unfortunate the hubby and I got sick during this long weekend that we just had a staycation.

It was really a long weekend we could have enjoyed but being sick (he is still sick, am a bit better because I got the bug first) is really not something we anticipated. I have been planning to go someplace where the hubby can put his bike on thule racks so he can ride on it when I remember that he gave his bike away. Yep, he did and to say ti was a fine bike would be a bit of an understatement. Anyway…

Everything will be better, I can feel it especially now that the children are coming back.

I know I am rambling such as my stomach is rumbling too because I am starving.

Gotta eat first.

Crossing the Zipline

I know I’ve shared this E.A.T. Danao zipline photo here but I am going to share it again:

If the hubby and I (plus the kids too!) get another chance to visit this place, I would not hesitate to go ride the zipline again.

It was fun. Double the fun was hiking a few meters to get on another zipline to be able to go back.

Some of those riding this Danao Suislide wear flipflops and they have these tied with them, lol. I didn’t experience that because I was wearing rubber shoes when went to Danao (we traveled via the back roads btw). The hubby was wearing vasque mantra. It was not difficult for us to climb the next peak (it just rained before our zipline ride!) to be able to get on the cable that will take us back.

I sure do hope my eldest daughter made this because her creative juice was runneth ovwr and not because she is fighting against doing some heavy scholastic tasks.

I’m sure there are people who’d rather doodle or stare at empty space rather than listen to heavy stuff like AAP Training or significance of molecular biology in agriculture or even the theories of existentialism. Heavy stuff huh? It depends on whether you are interested or not 🙂

My eldest daughter used to have fondness for these precious gems, that’s why when she was given the chance to have her blog when she was around 13, she named the blog Lucky Charms.

Whether you believe that these “lucky” chars can bring you good health, wealth, and happiness, be sure to remember that you have to work hard to be able to achieve your goals in life 🙂
