I do not know the name of this red flower. It is a lovely one to say the least. I saw it at a Sunday market which we go to time and again if we have time (read: if we wake up early before the stalls close before 1pm).

I took this photo when the MIL and the hubby were talking about equote life insurance as the former was looking for plants to buy. Talk about multitasking.

One thing that made me post this: I took this photo using a low MP camera phone but wonder of wonders, proper light and position made the photo clear and crisp.

Pink flower taken a long time ago but I am posting it for July 7. I wonder why the photo turned out not good when I posted in Instagram. The edges of the flowers look jagged/pixelated:

Flower Garden

Once upon a time, I tried to have a flower garden. We had flower plants with blooms and orchids. The orchids were full grown ones given to me as gift by a mom of a student. Talk about free flower delivery 🙂

Alas, I did not have enough green thumb skills to keep these alive and thriving.

I found my green thumb though, when I discovered I can grow herbs and even “harvested” calamansi last year. This is much better, according to my husband 😉
