with the seemingly trivial things I find difficult (aka things i complain about), I am grateful for

*the gift of understanding math and its complexities that our only son has. this is something the hubby and i are extremely proud of, not because he is better than his peers but because he probably knows more than we do when we were his age or maybe even older lol

*the “little miracles” which coincided with our daily (5th day with oranges) RAWkin juice drinks. it could have been just that a coincidence but…

Taking this time to be grateful to…

*the chance to bond with virtual friends I’ve been “conversing” with for the past 4 years or so

*beating the clock and being home a few minutes before the 2 younger kids got home

*hearing my boy say “thank you nay kasi masarap ang luto mong ulam” 🙂

Jan3: Lots of Walking

by “normal” self-imposed standards, this day is a day I’d consider a crappy one but as I have promised myself, I will try to find things for which I am grateful for like…

*walking during a drizzle which gave me a headache but made me sweat a lot which made me realize how really i am unfit and that i need to do something about this (it’s like… complicated lol)

*the chance to bond with the kids by playing a few rounds of a card game called_________ worth Php10/deck

*hot tinola dinner (cooked by the resident short order cook = me) which made me smile inwardly as they slurped their way through a few more servings

there is more but this is it for tonight as I take time to slow down for Gratitude Journal 2/366

lovely day today. I am grateful for

*an extra day of family bonding

*friends who through thick and thin still manage to be sensible, funny and wise

*a husband who loves chocolate cake and brewed coffee for a late afternoon snack

*the invention of juicers for our healthy fresh drinks
