Summer Bird

bird

One summer afternoon last March I took a photo of this bird up the still almost leafless tree beside the house. Methinks the bird is sunning itself with the afternoon sun. For me, this is a blissful photo.

July 20: Mayon Volcano

by julie on Jul.20, 2010, under Celestial Sphere, Drive-by Photography, Enchanting Landscape, Project 365

Mayon Volcano at a distance.

Mayon Volcano (AutoLevel done)

Yep, that volcano with the perfect cone shape. Photo taken at approximately 3200 feet above sea level.

I had to do some altering in this photo: Auto Level because the photo was almost all-white. My camera with the super zoom lens would have taken a better photo if only it is functioning fully. No outdoor photos are being taken using the cam for now :(

This photo was taken on our way home from spending a weekend with my mother-in-law.
