I love taking photos of lights and as a sample, here is my post with photos about lights for a 2007 Photo Hunter light theme. Below are two Christmas-y lights from last year’s Christmas season:

Christmas lights garland window dressing in my MIL home.

Lights for the Nutcracker Ballet Christmas show held at TriNoma last 2010.
Artificial lights are wonderful but nothing beats natural light, especially coming from the display of colors of a lovely sunset:

Happy weekend!
These branches look like they are reaching for the sky.
With a sky like this bursting with a lovely hue (ok, I admit, I’m no fan of orange but hey this is the sky so I guess this is good with me), who wouldn’t want to reach out and “touch the sky”?

Photo taken one afternoon while chatting with the house help in my MIL’s place.
Doubtful about the sky’s color? Check out this other photo taken with this: Sunset on a Rain Puddle

I love staying on the second-level rooftop in my MIL’s home where i can see the sunset and its lovely play of colors in the sky. See the trees on the lower side of the photo? That’s how high I am. Well, except for that super tall palm tree which is higher above everything else. I got trees photos here.

This is where the silhouette photo of the shell lamp was taken.
We were there earlier and I took photos of the kids and their cousins.
March 29, 2011 sunset view
Yet another sunset view. I can’t give them sunset view titles anymore so I just include the date the photos are taken. I know, I got tons of sunset photos. Every sunset is different from the last one and as a friend said, “we can never have enough sunset photos”. I agree.

Don’t we just love these sunset colors? I know I do.

Writing has always been seems easy for me. Thoughts seem to be easily transferred in encoded letters and in hand-written ones as well.

Along the way, taking photos has taken my writing a step further because I can reflect on different things captured in pixels. These may be symbolic, melodramatic or just plain rambling of randomness silly ideas but since these thoughts are mine, I have to make the most of this capacity to spurn and churn words as long as I can still do so.
This photo has inspired me to write not about sunsets but about getting old but the post is still in a draft and has yet to be published. I hope it’s going to be soon.
