Drizzles

I love it when it drizzles. If, however, the drizzling becomes stronger, that is another story.

Drizzles

When we took a scenic mountaintop road trip a few weeks ago, it was slightly drizzling. It was no surprise to see the highway devoid of vehicles with bike racks on the roofs.

This road is a favorite of bikers and motorcycle riders. It is also one of the highways used for music videos, photos shoot for cars and even tv ads with road trips scenes.

We’ve been to this place several times but we never seem to get tired of going there.

EAT Danao Suislide

EAT (Extreme Adventure Tours) Danao suislide.

EAT Danao suislide

That’s the hubby on his way to the other side of the zip line. I took the photo because I was next in line. Between the two mountains is a river. Yes, you can look down if you want, but better be prepared to be surprised because your are high above the trees (several trees put one on top of another, to give you an idea) and might experience dizzy spells. 200 meters high, that’s what I read. Or was it 200m long? :D

Not a good idea to feel bad if you are way up there with just a harness tied to a cable holding you up. Not a good idea if you are doing another extreme adventure: THE PLUNGE <- MUST.CLICK.THAT.LINK

To go back to the other side means to go up a higher elevation before going down on another zip line. No, I don’t think you can say “no” to that since that’s the ONLY way you can go back to your friends who didn’t do the zip line.

I love, love, love the zip line and if given the chance, I would go back and do it again. And again.

Traffic

Ushering in the BER months mean traffic, traffic and more traffic as people flock to malls like moths attracted to a burning candle.

I’m sure a lot of responsible car-owners have started doing tune-ups with their cars to avoid any
inconveniences because I’m seeing car lifts that are full in auto service centers during weekends.

As for us, our ride needs tuning up, a new set of wheels, a re-painting job and a whole lot more of that what-not.

Kaching-kaching.

Some Car Photos

We love going to car shows. In fact ion my other blogs (yes, I have a few) there is a category called MOTORING, cars here, and some cars from car shows over here.

I still have a lot of car photos to post in my blogs Gah! I’m so way behind my blog posts and I’m even thinking I could have an entirely new blog dedicated to cars!

Anyway, reading about mazda 626 custom floor mats the other day had me go through my archives and post some car photos:

Car Show

We love going to car shows because these are very good opportunities to get near wonderful cars such as this one:

Car show

The kids pose gamely with their favorite cars. Though they appear to be uninterested in the section where old school cars are on display but they marvel at the exotics they get to watch in videos and play in computer games. I even had them sit in a customized van that looks a home away from home.
