Surprise, surprise from my Bunso. I’m so touched with her sweetness even if she spent half of the allowance she was given earlier to buy that rose for me. I cry now.

So, are you holding a red rose or a red horse? Lol/jk

Reflection:

Feeling an underlying tension in a sibling rivalry which had me thinking i don’t want my children to feel that way with each other someday.

Flower Garden

Once upon a time, I tried to have a flower garden. We had flower plants with blooms and orchids. The orchids were full grown ones given to me as gift by a mom of a student. Talk about free flower delivery 🙂

Alas, I did not have enough green thumb skills to keep these alive and thriving.

I found my green thumb though, when I discovered I can grow herbs and even “harvested” calamansi last year. This is much better, according to my husband 😉

spent a tiring day with half of it on the road and most of it offline. This was a memorable day and even if the youngest child feels feverish, I am grateful that…

* we were able to spend more time with our dear family friends who have welcomed us in their hearts. We feel the same way with them too.

* the simple and innocent yet logical questions from the children can elicit a lot of laughter

* the trip going back home was tiring but arriving safe and sound is what really matters

* having a brother who, despite his busy sked and being away from his family, stayed in our home last night.

* my children enjoyed the time they spent together with their grandmother (my MIL) and their cousins

pink is sweet and yes, 65 seems to be the age where dancing in glittery heels and short dresses seem to be the norm
