We went to watch a slalom/drifting competition last Sunday afternoon. The kids were excited though they did not enjoy the noise and the smell of burning rubber on concrete.

Slalom

I took this photo and the son posted it in his Instagram account.

We enjoyed the lively songs being played (it seems like they are using novation launchpad at gc) while each one of the cars dragged and drifted and weaved through the course. There are spectators watching and it seems like they thoroughly enjoyed seeing these cars raced against each others’ time.

Floating balls

These are in fact floating plastic balls in a swimming pool. Yep, photo looks fake.

These floating balls were used during a weekend family outing we had to celebrate the second birthday of the youngest member of the family.These plastic balls provided a lot of fun to the kids, who resorted to playing catch and just plain annoying other by hitting them like snowballs.

I don’t think they brought these balls back home. I think not.

This photo was taken when we went to the 2012 Manila Auto Salon two weeks ago.

We rarely venture out this far because we have malls a few minutes from where we live. This was also a time I spent outdoors without having to watch some DIY videos like baking and hair styling videos that I might need for the coming holidays.

Serenading

Wouldn’t it be nice to spend a night out here in a slightly cool weather while being serenaded by a small group of musicians? I wouldn’t mind them playing a sweet song especially with Yamaha clarinets.

How romantic!

One of the things that the Filipino men do back in the day was serenade the ladies that they have an eye on. I wonder if there are those who still do that. Serenading in restaurants is not included of course 😀
